As is tradition at Holy Trinity School, the student body attended Mass to remember, honor, and thank our country's veterans. Students served as lectors, cantors, petition readers, and Third Grade recited a patriotic poem.

Congratulations to our Grade 7 students who were Confirmed by Bishop Senior in a beautiful sacramental celebration. After many months of preparation, these students are now full members of the Catholic faith community. Thank you to their parents, sponsors, and teachers for supporting them throughout the preparation process.

Thank you to all the families who did not let the wet weather dampen their Halloween spirits and came out to distribute goodies to our little Trick or Treaters! A huge thank you to all families who could not be there but still sent in candy for our Trick or Trunk event - we could not have done it without your support!

Congratulations to the winners of our Halloween Family Trick or Treat Bag Contest, and thank you to all families who participated - what creative and talented families we have here at Holy Trinity! As part of the school’s annual All Saints Day celebration, Holy Trinity School students from Grade 1 processed in full costume and explained to the congregation how they are similar to the saint they had chosen to portray. This took place during Monsignor Eckert's All Saints Day prayer service for the student body. Saints Sarah, Lawrence, Nicholas, Cecilia, Demetrius, Frances Cabrini, and Francis of Assisi were among the saints represented.

This morning, Grade 7, along with Mr. McCusker, Miss Traub, and Mrs. Lorraine Tucker of our school's Advisory Council, visited members of Sunrise Senior Living in Yardley. Students and their new friends asked each other questions in order to get to know one another better. After that, everyone engaged in a pumpkin-painting activity. A great time was had by all!

Congratulations to the students in PreK3 through Grade 8 and our Grade 4 teacher, Miss Fichter, who were recognized for their kind acts at today's S.T.A.R.E. Student of the Month Luncheon.

To the pleasure of students and staff alike, our long-awaited, much-anticipated, innovative S.T.E.A.M. Room was unveiled today with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and blessing by Monsignor Eckert. Excitement among the students has been building for weeks, as the room has been under wraps with “Under Construction” signs the only things visible to them. The room includes state-of-the-art seating to accommodate students from PreKindergarten through Grade 8, a Robotics table with dedicated coding/programming devices, Makerspace components, iPads and Chromebooks, and Science tools and equipment for all grade levels. Additionally, the S.T.E.A.M. Room will serve as the school’s Music space, so instruments, keyboards, and sound equipment also have their own area. Thank you to our S.T.E.A.M. Room teachers - Mrs. Merk, Mrs. Smith, and Miss Traub - for all their hard work setting-up and organizing the room. Holy Trinity’s S.T.E.A.M. Room was made possible through generous parishioner contributions, memorial donations, MANNA program proceeds, Home and School Association funding, and the support of the entire school community. The annual Holy Trinity School tradition honoring St. Francis of Assisi was held this morning. Students brought their beloved furry, scaly, or feathered friends to be blessed by Monsignor Eckert.

Congratulations to Valentina Recchia (Grade 8) for submitting the winning design for this year's Morrisville Restaurant Week Logo Design Contest! Ms. Corryn Kronnagel of Morrisville Borough Council presented Valentina with a gift certificate to one of the participating restaurants, Salute Ristorante. Thank you to Borough Council for partnering with Holy Trinity School to present this opportunity to our students! Be sure to look for Val's design around town leading up to Morrisville Restaurant Week - October 6-12!

As is tradition at Holy Trinity School, students, teachers, parents, and volunteers from Villanova University come together one Saturday each September to tackle projects around the school campus. Thank you to Mrs. Smith our Grade 5 homeroom teacher for leading us in the effort to make our school a more beautiful place! Leaves were raked, mums were planted, the STEAM Room was prepared, the outdoor Cottage toys were cleaned, and new ride-on toys for our PreK students were assembled through the efforts of approximately 50 volunteers. Thank you to the Holy Trinity School Advisory Council for provided breakfast and lunch for our workers.

Four of our Grade 8 students were honored by Holy Trinity Knights of Columbus #3673 at their 8th Grade Leadership Recognition Ceremony, a new tradition for the Knights. The students were recognized as Holy Trinity's student faith leaders and were presented with Bibles at the Knights' Catechetical Sunday fall breakfast. Congratulations to our students - Madalen Bentivoglio, Erin Huber, Matthew Miller, and Sammy Rodriguez - and thank you to our parish Knights!

Last year, Holy Trinity School took on a MAJOR facility improvement project involving the entry stairwell for our school. With the generous support of Holy Trinity parishioners and school families, the entrance and front stairwell of the school (all three levels) were completely renovated - new and safe stairs and landings were installed, lighting was updated and improved, the entire area was professionally painted, canvas photo collages were hung, and new banners and mats completed the project. The changes have vastly improved our school's appearance and safety! Please stop in to see for yourself or view the website photo album!

To celebrate the first school day with the entire student body in attendance, Holy Trinity School continued the tradition of celebrating "First Day" with another epic beginning! With a Superhero theme, the day began with Mass, during which our new students and faculty members were recognized and introduced, and Superman made an appearance. New families were invited to enjoy breakfast and to tour the school facilities, including the PreK Children's Cottage, where our youngest students' classrooms can be found. Entertainment provided by Young Audiences - The Fundamentals of Hip-Hop - was a huge hit, getting many of our students and faculty members to participate on stage! The fun continued in the evening at the Home & School Association's "Food Truck Friendzy" event, featuring delicious options from a variety of vendors, and the always popular faculty dunk tank. What a way to kick-off the year!

Holy Trinity School opened the 2019-2020 school year for students on Wednesday, September 4, welcoming Grades 1 to 5. The Junior High students (Grades 6-8) reported for their first day on Thursday, and the entire student body (PreK through Grade 8) gathered on Friday. All students were enthusiastically greeted by an administration, faculty, and staff who are ready to embark on an exciting year of learning!

We congratulate the Holy Trinity School Class of 2027 as they celebrate the end of their year as Kindergarteners! The students demonstrated a bit of what they have learned this year using song, dance, and adorable skits for their very impressed family, administrators and teachers, and prayer partners! We cannot wait to see them back in September as First Graders!

As is tradition, the 8th Grade graduating class leaves behind a gift to the school. This year, the Holy Trinity School Class of 2019 has creatively gifted the younger students with a giant Jenga game - complete with hand-written notes from the soon-to-be-graduates - and a custom HTS bean bag toss/corn hole set! These generous gifts will surely be enjoyed by the Holy Trinity students during indoor and outdoor lunch recess for many years to come!
