As is tradition at Holy Trinity School, students and faculty gathered prior to First Friday Mass to participate in Monsignor Eckert's blessing of the Advent Wreath, as we begin this season of preparing for the birth of Jesus. Following Mass, students recounted the story of Jesus' family tree and hung symbolic ornaments on the Jesse Tree, which will stand in the school lobby for the remainder of Advent.

It was a week of gifting at Holy Trinity School, thanks to the dedicated parents, grandparents, and other special family members who acted as elves in Santa's Secret Shop! All of our students had the opportunity to pick out surprise gifts for their loved ones - including pets! - and enjoy edible Christmas treats, as the school library was transformed into Santa's workshop. Santa even made a guest appearance to hear all the children's Christmas wishes - what a special week for all!

Thank you to everyone who supported Holy Trinity's annual Barnes & Noble Book Fair, which is always a successful fundraiser for our school! A huge thank you to Mrs. Preston, Miss Traub, and Mrs. Neff for coordinating this event. Our fantastic coordinators would like to extend appreciation to our Library Ambassadors, to our guest-reader teachers, to the parents, grandparents, retired faculty members, and Advisory Council members who came to Barnes & Noble, please know how much your efforts are appreciated!

As is tradition at Holy Trinity School, the student body attended Mass to remember, honor, and thank our country's veterans. Students served as lectors, cantors, petition readers, and Third Grade recited a patriotic poem.

Congratulations to our Grade 7 students who were Confirmed in a beautiful sacramental celebration. After many months of preparation, these students are now full members of the Catholic faith community. Thank you to their parents, sponsors, and teachers for supporting them throughout the preparation process.

Students in PreK through Grade 2 marched around the school for the annual HT Halloween Parade. Thank you to all the families who decorated a trunk and/or came out to distribute goodies to our little Trick or Treaters! A huge thank you to all families who could not be there but still sent in candy for our Trick or Trunk event - we could not have done it without your support!

As part of the school’s annual All Saints Day celebration, Holy Trinity School students from Grade 1 processed in full costume and explained to the congregation how they are similar to the saint they had chosen to portray. This took place during Monsignor Eckert's All Saints Day prayer service for the student body. Saints Sarah, Lawrence, Nicholas, Cecilia, Demetrius, Frances Cabrini, and Francis of Assisi were among the saints represented.

Congratulations to the students in PreK3 through Grade 8 and our Grade 3 teacher, Mrs. Pirraglia, who were recognized for their kind acts at today's S.T.A.R.E. Student of the Month Luncheon.

Thank you to the Home & School Association for sponsoring today's Nacho Day - a favorite of the students! Can't wait for the next one in the spring!

The annual Holy Trinity School tradition honoring St. Francis of Assisi was held this morning. Students brought their beloved furry, scaly, or feathered friends to be blessed by Monsignor Eckert.

The first day fun continued in the evening at the Home & School Association's "Food Truck Friendzy" event, featuring delicious options from a variety of vendors, and the always popular faculty dunk tank. To celebrate the first school day with the entire student body in attendance, Holy Trinity School continued the tradition of celebrating "First Day" with another epic beginning! the day began with Mass, during which our new students and faculty members were recognized and introduced, The entertainment provided was a huge hit, getting many of our students and faculty members to participate. Holy Trinity School opened the 2022-2023 school year for students on Wednesday, September 7, welcoming Grades 1 to 5. The Junior High students (Grades 6-8) reported for their first day on Thursday, and the entire student body (PreK through Grade 8) gathered on Friday. All students were enthusiastically greeted by an administration, faculty, and staff who are ready to embark on an exciting year of learning!

A long-standing Holy Trinity tradition - FUN DAY - was held this week! All students participated in exciting relays and skill games - Over-Under, Scooter Relay, Bucketball, to name a few. After two hours of competitive fun, the RED TEAM earned the most points and won this year's Fun Day competition! The student body celebrated the victory with a cool popsicle treat to end the day. Thank you to our Fun Day Committee and 8th Grade Class for making this truly fun day possible this year!

Thank you to everyone who had participated in the Holy Trinity School Talent Show! Who could have ever imagined the level of talent hidden within our students and staff? A special thank you to Miss Fario for all of her hard work, 21st Century for their continued support in, and Conwell Egan Catholic High School for hosting our show!

Thank you to everyone in the Holy Trinity Community who supported this year's Barbecue Fundraiser for the Library! A special note of gratitude to Mrs. Rita Raudenbush - our school librarian - for organizing this successful event.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported this year's RACE FOR EDUCATION! Thanks to the hard work of our team lead by Miss Christine Traub, our students' and their families' help with spreading the word about the event, the support of Monsignor Eckert, and the generosity of our many donors - grandparents, aunts and uncles, neighbors, parishioners, community members - this year's Race set a record for the amount of money pledged! Come 2022-2023, be sure to look for the many school improvements made possible by funds raised by the Race for Education!

Another memorable Catholic Schools Week is in the books - what a week! From our Opening Mass and Open House on Sunday; followed by a packed-with-events Open House in the evening; to our Closing Mass, Carnival of Prizes assembly, and Family BINGO Night on Friday, the week was certainly filled with examples of how our school Learns, Serves, Leads, and Succeeds!
