As is tradition at Holy Trinity School, students and faculty gathered prior to First Friday Mass to participate in Monsignor Eckert's blessing of the Advent Wreath, as we begin this season of preparing for the birth of Jesus. Following Mass, students recounted the story of Jesus' family tree and hung symbolic ornaments on the Jesse Tree, which will stand in the school lobby for the remainder of Advent.

It was a week of gifting at Holy Trinity School, thanks to the dedicated parents, grandparents, and other special family members who acted as elves in Santa's Secret Shop! All of our students had the opportunity to pick out surprise gifts for their loved ones - including pets! - and enjoy edible Christmas treats, as the school library was transformed into Santa's workshop. Santa even made a guest appearance to hear all the children's Christmas wishes - what a special week for all!

Thank you to everyone who supported Holy Trinity's annual Barnes & Noble Book Fair, which is always a successful fundraiser for our school! As is tradition at Holy Trinity School, the student body attended Mass to remember, honor, and thank our country's veterans. Students served as lectors, cantors, petition readers, and Third Grade recited a patriotic poem.

After many months of preparation, these students are now full members of the Catholic faith community. Students in PreK through Grade 2 marched around the school for the annual HT Halloween Parade. Thank you to all the families who decorated a trunk and/or came out to distribute goodies to our little Trick or Treaters! As part of the school’s annual All Saints Day celebration, Holy Trinity School students from Grade 1 processed in full costume and explained to the congregation how they are similar to the saint they had chosen to portray. This took place during Monsignor Eckert's All Saints Day prayer service for the student body. Saints Sarah, Lawrence, Nicholas, Cecilia, Demetrius, Frances Cabrini, and Francis of Assisi were among the saints represented.

Holy Trinity School opened the 2022-2023 school year for students on Wednesday, September 7, welcoming Grades 1 to 5. The Junior High students (Grades 6-8) reported for their first day on Thursday, and the entire student body (PreK through Grade 8) gathered on Friday. All students were enthusiastically greeted by an administration, faculty, and staff who are ready to embark on an exciting year of learning!

A long-standing Holy Trinity tradition - FUN DAY - was held this week! All students participated in exciting relays and skill games - Over-Under, Scooter Relay, Bucketball, to name a few. After two hours of competitive fun, the RED TEAM earned the most points and won this year's Fun Day competition! The student body celebrated the victory with a cool popsicle treat to end the day. Thank you to our Fun Day Committee and 8th Grade Class for making this truly fun day possible this year!

Our annual Easter-time tradition re-enacting the life, passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ returned this year and was held on Palm Sunday. Students in Grades 1 and 5-8 participated in the production, which featured song, dance, and narration.
